 Human beings have an innate desire to connect. We are biologically, cognitively, physically, and spiritually wired to love, to be loved, and to connect with each other and feel a sense of belonging .   We are social animals which thrive on connection- infact one can almost say that human connect is the driving force behind everything we do.

Much awaited, the  time has come for us to emerge from the  fog of prolonged isolation. Conversations of how to move towards foregoing the idea of a largely virtual life are starting as humanity opens its doors again, and starts resuming its shared lives. 

Inspired by bridging this transition towards a new beginning, one of rebuilding our selves and our human connect, Perona brings people together yet celebrates their unique individuality through our Fall Winter 2021-2022 collection - THE HUMAN CONNECT .

Highlights of the Collection :

1. Soft, warm hues : Peaceful sage, camel, ivory, cognac, pine,  soft neutral earthy shades of brown and beige, the colour pallete shows warmth and tranquility, invites conversations, reaches out to encourage others to  share their  lives with ours. 

2. Embracing layering : Chic, minimalistic layers styled in experimental flattering evening wear sillouettes give centre stage to the concept of taking off our external layers of protection, crossing over the threshold of private to public life, and letting people in to share our lives together.

3. Kaleidoscopicnecklines : We present a kaleidoscope of necklines as a powerful creative touchpoint of this collection to draw the attention of the eye upward towards your face, and frame it in a flattering way. The collection features a variety of elegant cowl  necks, boat or bateau , minimal funnel necklines, artistically crafted asymmetrical necklines. After two years of covering our faces we bring the focus back to the face as a vehicle of expression to bond with our community .

4. Pristine , Strong tailoring : Perona’s signature modern, updated tailored ensembles - jackets, dresses, long coats, trousers,can be paired not only with pumps or sneakers, but loafers as well. In other words, this isn't about subverting the classic pieces; it's about offering our modern take on classic tailoring.
   Focal points of the collection are our lux motion-tech fabrics, premium woollen overcoats and minimalistic hand- woven shirt dresses, jumpsuits and pant-sets which balance clean lines with playful, whimsical cuts.

5. Connecting parts within a whole : Bags and Accessories conceptualised with elements of thoughtful product materials and design. Never-seen-before unique linking of different parts run within a piece in eye catching architecturally constructed shapes assertively hold their own, without competing with the carriage of the wearer.  All elements connect with each other creating a strong integrated disposition within the piece , symbolising the concept of building human connect and bonding as one .
